I am an architect and educator based in Chicago. I hold a PhD in History and Theory of Architecture from the Delft University of Technology that investigates the relations between architecture, labour and production. I am currently Assistant Professor at the UIC School of Architecture in Chicago. Previously, I taught design studios and theory seminars at The Berlage Institute, TU Delft, the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture, the Roma Tre University. I worked with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, Matteo Mannini Architects, and DOGMA. I am a founding member of the research collective The City as a Project and I collaborate with the peer-reviewed journals Footprint (TU Delft Architecture Theory Journal in Netherlands) and Materia Arquitectura (Journal of the Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad San Sebastián in Santiago, Chile). In 2012 I co-founded Behemoth Press, a think-tank platform devoted to the exploration of the architectural project in the form of essays, drawings, exhibitions, and publications. This website is an assemblage of projects produced in these last years.
